Land Acknowledgment

Land Acknowledgment: As a small business owner working and residing in the Calgary and surrounding area, I would like to acknowledge that the land in which I operate is on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy, including the Siksika, Piikani and Kainai Nations; the Stoney-Nakoda, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw and and Goodstoney First Nations; and the Tsuut’ina Nation. Southern Alberta is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3. Living in the heart of this Treaty 7 territory, I acknowledge there is an ongoing responsibility to honour, respect, and protect the diversity and strength of all Indigenous peoples.
